Finally the hot weather had arrived and we were off to CT to spend time with the cuzzes, grandma and aunt Leslie while the big boys golfed. The kids encountered a problem at the park- all of the fun equipment to play on was being worked on. Thankfully we brought scooters to ride around in the parking lot. WELL there in lies our second problem a GIGANTIC puddle right in the middle. Noah, Eli, Alyssa and Xander showed us just what they thought about this problem and how to solve it while keeping cool and having FUN!
I have to admit my first thought was "No puddle- gross!" Thankfully my sister is not as much of a germ-o-phobe, like me, and told the kids that would be great to go through it! She was right! The kids had a blast. Much more fun than riding on the trail around the play area!

Leave it to kids to find something fun in any disappointing situation. Good for you for letting them enjoy some good 'ol puddle jumping or riding in this case.
