Once a year we make the trek out into the last 3 acres of our woods and then well beyond. The snow makes it easy to traverse and the thorn bushes are minimal at this time!
And best of all NO ticks! I loathe them!!!!
King of the mountain!
Once we hit the train tracks the landscape goes on until it reaches the Mass Pike.
The kids think the hills at the very back are Connecticut. 
Next years Charlie Brown tree?
