This past weekend was General Conference. As a family we made an effort to watch as much as conference as possible. Saturday morning was out since Alyssa had a 12 o'clock soccer game, but we were able to watch all of the other sessions. It felt really good to have the kids sit down and all of us listen to the words of the Prophet, apostles and our leaders.
In YW we challenged the girls to watch and the call one of us to answers questions and receive a prize. We didn't have too many girls call, but I am grateful that we did do "Dial a Prize" because it really helped me to concentrate, focus and take notes! Otherwise it just all blends together.
I'm glad that the quotes we used from last year inspired Lissy! She even designed a few of her own!

I am glad you challenged the girls, because it made Marissa really concentrate and want to stay home and listen....she wanted to make sure she could answer the questions the leaders might ask!
