This afternoon on our walk we found a sweet little friend! At first I thought it was fake since the kids have an eraser just like it! 
Alyssa was the first to pick him up and promptly dropped him because his cute little tail wiggled and scared her. Then she spent the rest of the walk feeling terrible about it.
Thank goodness he is forgiving!
Xander kindly returned him closer to the pond. He was at least 4 houses away going the wrong direction. I wonder how he got there?
Now he can be happy and grow to be a nice big turtle by the pond.
