Alyssa wanted to bake a cake ALL BY HERSELF! No touching or help from Mom.
Please note the cake powder on her nose!
I did get an occasional "No Mom or I can do it" when I hovered too closely.
We both share a LOVE of batter.
She did an awesome job and it tasted delicious. If only we had frosting....
1. Letting go and passing the spatula on.
2. Cake mixes- she wanted to do it from scratch and I convinced her to do this instead
3. Something other than ice cream for dessert
