Wow how time flies! My babies turned 9 today. Only one year left until double digits! We started the celebration a little early and went shopping last night at Toys R' Us and Target. They couldn't decide what they wanted so we gave them money as did their Grandma Barbara. They had a good time picking out what they wanted. Xander's was gone in 10 minutes amazing how much 2 Lego sets and a DS game cost! Alyssa picked out a scooter and shirt and has money still to burn.
This morning we gave them their presents, got Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast and hung out until Xander's soccer game- which he played in the POURING RAIN!! Thankfully they cancelled Lissy's game so we ventured out for an early dinner at Outback and then home to watch a movie.
The best part of the evening was the fact that the waiter DIDN'T sing to them! They hate that part and I am not one to help out. I did promise not to say it was their birthday, I only said I gave birth to them 9 years ago.
We had a good dinner and had to make a few silly faces too!
