Love notes

I have a new pen pal. 

We have been exchanging notes back and forth for a week or so now. Every night she reminds me that her note will be on her bedside table and not to forget. So when I go up to bed and make sure the kids are all tucked in I read my note and respond. It really makes my heart happy. 

Interesting thing is when I was young I would leave my mom notes at night. She is an RN and worked the 3-11 shift so we had really opposite schedules. She would be at work by the time I got home from school.  I am so glad that Alyssa is carrying on the tradition. It is always special to get a love note!
