Our furry friend

This cute little guy took up quite a bit of time on Saturday. Xander was all set to start using the push mower  and he started it up and well... let's just say his brother didn't make it. So Xander thoughtfully buried him.

Xander found another brother or sister. This one was quite feisty! Thankfully he had gloves on since she was hanging from one of the fingers by her teeth. (No picture taken due to making sure all was well with Xander.)  So we put them both in a basket. The one on top we thought was defintely dying, but thankfully when Xander placed the basket with 2 mice in it by the stone wall they all ran away happily!

Another family member was found and relocated by his brothers and sisters in their new home.
***Note to mice- please don't make your home in our lawnmower!  OR our grill. Either place is a really bad choice! End results are not good!***

Atlantis Vacation

We went to Paradise Island, New Providence Bahamas for our 20th wedding anniversary. I never have posted pictures on my blog about it because I was working hard on a picture book for it. I finally finished the book a few days ago! It turned out to be 90 pages! WOW! Considering that we took well over 800 pictures it was hard to condense it down but I did- well to 250 plus of my favorite pictures. Here is a link to the book: Paradise Island Adventure

if you don't have time to look at the book here are my favorite pictures from our vacation- I'll try and only do the top 10 or maybe 20...

Marblehead, MA EST. 1629

We spent a relaxing and rejuvenating and well needed time with family afternoon in Marblehead, MA. I haven't been in probably 13 years and I am asking myself WHY? I loved it back then and I love it even more now! Everyone had a wonderful afternoon climbing, exploring, enjoying and breathing in the fresh sea air! Our last little bit of Summer before Fall is in full swing. If you haven't had a chance to go to Marblehead- please do! You won't be disappointed!
