pumpkins and cookies

This year has been our easiest year of pumpkin decorating yet...

Paul and the kids carved pumpkins while I made sugar cookies.

 Now if only all the mess would have cleaned itself....

Michael Myers may not be the bad dude he pretends to be! He fainted at the sight of blood at our friends halloween party last night. Okay maybe it wasn't at the sight of blood. Maybe it was because he was overheated in the rubber mask. Some psycho killer you are!

Sharing

I love to make pumpkin chocolate chip muffins in the Fall. What is even better than making and eating them is sharing them!         

Fall favorites so far...

Corn pit?

This year we went to my sister's in Connecticut 

to pick our pumpkins.

We also went on a hay ride and through a corn maze.

But the best part was the CORN PIT!!!

So she snuck into the maze and shook most of it out...

10th birthday party

This year I swore the kids were NOT going to have a big party. We would just invite a few friends and do something on a smaller scale. Well.... the few friends turned into 18 and the smaller scale turned into a Minute to Win It themed birthday party with 11 games and lots of fun! The video is 7 minutes long, but you will laugh really hard at the funny faces they make during "Face the Cookie" so stay for the long haul and enjoy. It was a hit and fun was had by all, but next year NO PARTY AT HOME!!!

I made the video as "thank you" notes and will give each child his or her own copy. I think they'll enjoy seeing themselves on the big screen.
