Some of the dads decided that it would be a good idea to tailgate prior to the semi finals game since it was Father's Day. It turned out to be a great idea since the girls had a little while to take their minds off the game.

Thankfully we were a bit relaxed because what followed was total insanity!
Oh my gosh! The most stressful
game of our life!!! Girls tied 3-3 and then had two 5 minute over time periods
with no score. Then we were down to penalty kicks!!! I was beyond ready to
throw up at this point. I knew it would be incredibly stressful for Alyssa if it came down to PK's. She is so calm and collected under pressure though and didn't let it show!
That's why she plays goal and I sit on the sidelines!
Kat scored one penalty kick, then Carly scored the 2nd
penalty kick at this point the other team had 1 and we needed one more to win.
Then Alyssa came out of goal and kicked the last penalty kick FOR THE WIN!!!!!!
Oh my gosh! It took me forever to finally settle down. Unbelievable!!!!
The girls were amazing
and played so hard!
One more game to go!
If they win the next game, the Championship game,
they are off to the Massachusetts Tournanment of Champions- MTOC-
where the Championship players from across the entire state of MA. compete against one another.
The post game tailgating party was so much more relaxed for the girls!
